ಅನುವಾದ:
ಎದುರು ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ, ಬಿಳಿಯ ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದ, ಮಹಾರಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣನೂ ಅರ್ಜುನನೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಅಲೌಕಿಕವಾದ ಶಂಖಗಳನ್ನು ಊದಿದರು.
ಭಾವಾರ್ಥ:
ಭೀಷ್ಮರು ಊದಿದ ಶಂಖವನ್ನು ಅಲೌಕಿಕ ಎಂದು ವರ್ಣಿಸಿಲ್ಲ. ಕೃಷ್ಣಾರ್ಜುನರ ಶಂಖಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಅಲೌಕಿಕ ಎಂದು ವರ್ಣಿಸಿದೆ. ಅಲೌಕಿಕ ಶಂಖಗಳ ನಾದವು ಎದುರು ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಜಯದ ಸಂಭವವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸಿತು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಕೃಷ್ಣನು ಪಾಂಡವರ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ. ಜಯಸ್ತು ಪಾಂಡುಪುತ್ರಾಣಾಮ್ ಯೇಷಾಂ ಪಕ್ಷೇ ಜನಾರ್ಧನಃ ಜಯವು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಲಭಿಸುವುದು ಪಾಂಡವರಂತಹವರಿಗೇ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಭಗವಾನ್ ಕೃಷ್ಣನು ಅವರ ಜೊತೆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಭಗವಾನ್ ಕೃಷ್ಣನು ಯಾವಾಗ, ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಆಗ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗ್ಯಶ್ರೀ ಇರುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಭಾಗ್ಯಶ್ರೀ ತನ್ನ ಪತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಒಬ್ಬಳೇ ಎಂದೂ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ವಿಷ್ಣು, ಅಥವಾ ಶ್ರೀಕೃಷ್ಣನ ಶಂಖದ ಅಲೌಕಿಕ ನಾದವು ಸೂಚಿಸುವಂತೆ ವಿಜಯವೂ ಭಾಗ್ಯವೂ ಅರ್ಜುನನಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಇಷ್ಟೇ ಅಲ್ಲದೇ, ಈ ಮಿತ್ರರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದ ರಥವನ್ನು ಅಗ್ನಿಯು ಅರ್ಜುನನಿಗಾಗಿ ಉಡುಗೊರೆಯಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ. ತ್ರಿಲೋಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಯಾವ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲೇ ಆದರೂ ಈ ರಥವು ವಿಜಯಿಯಾಗುವುದೆಂಬುದನ್ನು ಇದು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.

Translation:
On the other side, both Lord Krishna and Arjuna, stationed on a great chariot drawn by white horses, sounded their transcedental conchshells.
Purport:
In contrast with the conchshell blown by Bheeshmadeva, the conchshells in the hands of Krishna and Arjuna are described as transcedental. The sounding of the transcedental conchshells indicated that there was no hope of victory for the other side because Krishna was on the side of the Pandavas. Jayas tu pandu-putranam yesham pakshe janardhanah. Victory is always with persons like the sons of Pandu because Lord Krishna is associated with them. And whenever and wherever the Lord is present, the goddess of fortune is also there because the goddess of fortune never lives alone without her husband. Therefore, victory and fortune were awaiting Arjuna, as indicated by the transcedental sound produced by the conchshell of Vishnu, or Lord Krishna. Besides that, the chariot on which both the friends were seated was donated by Agni (the fire-god) to Arjuna, and this indicated that this chariot was capable of conquering all sides, wherever it was drawn over the three worlds.
