ಅನುವಾದ:
ನನಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನೇ ಕೊಡಲು ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಗರುವ ಇನ್ನೂ ಅನೇಕ ಮಂದಿ ವೀರರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ವಿವಿಧ ಅಸ್ತ್ರ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವವರು. ಎಲ್ಲಾರೂ ಯುದ್ಧ ವಿಶಾರದರು.
ಭಾವಾರ್ಥ:
ಜಯದ್ರಥ, ಕೃತವರ್ಮ ಮತ್ತು ಶಲ್ಯರಂತಹವರ ವಿಷಯ ಹೇಳುವುದಾದರೆ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ದುರ್ಯೋಧನನಿಗಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನೇ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಲು ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದನ್ನೇ ಬೇರೆ ಮಾತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳುವುದಾದರೆ, ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿರುವ ದುರ್ಯೋಧನನ ಪಕ್ಷವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕುರುಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಗಲೇ ನಿರ್ಧಾರವಾಗಿಹೋಗಿದೆ. ದುರ್ಯೋಧನನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರ ಬಲವು ಒಂದುಗೂಡಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ವಿಜಯವು ತನ್ನದೇ ಎಂದು ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

Translation:
There are many other heroes who are prepared to lay down their lives for my sake. All of them are well equipped with different kinds of weapons, and all are experienced in military science.
Purport:
As far as the others are concerned-like Jayadratha, Krtavarma, Shalya, etc.- all are determined to lay down their lives for Duryodhana's sake. In other words, it is already concluded that all of them would die in the Battle of Kurukshetra for joining the party of the sinful Duryodhana. Duryodhana was, of course, confident of his victory on account of the above mentioned combined strength of his friends.
