ತಾವು, ಭೀಷ್ಮರು, ಕರ್ಣ, ಕೃಪ, ಅಶ್ವತ್ಥಾಮ, ವಿಕರ್ಣ, ಸೋಮದತ್ತನ ಮಗನಾದ ಭೂರಿಶ್ರವ, ಇವರೆಲ್ಲ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜಯಿಗಳಾಗುವವರು.
ಭಾವಾರ್ಥ:
ದುರ್ಯೋಧನನು ಸದಾ ವಿಜಯಿಗಳಾಗುವ ಅಸಾಧಾರಣ ವೀರರನ್ನು ಹೆಸರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ವಿಕರ್ಣನು ದುರ್ಯೋಧನನ ತಮ್ಮ, ಅಶ್ವತ್ಥಾಮನು ದ್ರೋಣಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ಮಗ, ಸೌಮದತ್ತಿ ಅಥವಾ ಭೂರಿಶ್ರವನು ಬಾಹ್ಲೀಕರ ಅರಸನ ಮಗ. ಕರ್ಣನು ಅರ್ಜುನನ ಮಲ ಅಣ್ಣ; ಪಾಂಡುರಾಜನನ್ನು ಕುಂತಿಯು ಮದುವೆಯಾಗುವ ಮೊದಲು ಅವಳು ಹೆತ್ತ ಮಗ. ಕೃಪಾಚಾರ್ಯರ ಅವಳಿ ಸೋದರಿ ದ್ರೋಣಾಚಾರ್ಯರನ್ನು ಮದುವೆಯಾದಳು.

Translation:
There are personalities like yourself, Bheeshma, Karna, Krupa, Ashvatthama, Vikarna and the son of Somadatta called Bhurishrava, who are always victorious in battle.
Purport:
Duryodhana mentioned the exceptional heroes in the battle, all of whom are ever-victorious. Vikarna is the brother of Dhuryodhana, Ashwatthama is the son of Dronacharya, and Saumadatti, or Bhurishrava, is the son of the King of the Bahlikas. Karna is the half brother of Arjuna, as he was born of Kunti before her marriage with King Pandu. Krupacharya married the twin sister of Dronacharya.
